My name is Nicholas Wilder Luuring, and I am the founder and woodworker behind Crane Fine Woodworking, based in coastal Maine.

I specialize in custom cabinetry, built-ins, and finely crafted furniture. My work is rooted in traditional joinery, clean proportion, and a commitment to building pieces that are made to last - both in function and in appearance.

I am the Maine State Cabinetmaking Champion and a Top 10 National Finisher at the SkillsUSA Cabinetmaking Championships, and I hold a degree in Fine Woodworking and Cabinetmaking from Eastern Maine. These experiences shaped my standards and continue to guide the way I approach every project: with focus, precision, and respect for the craft.

Each piece that leaves my shop is designed and built by me, start to finish. That means clear communication, careful planning, and consistent quality from the first cut to the final installation.
